Firstborn

I am a person who believes no one person defines our fate and future but ourselves.
I believe there is not a person in the world who can't be amazing, if they want to be.

I recently came across an article on the web which was all about
how the birth order of children affect their personalities and possibly their future.
I found this interesting.

As a mother of three I can definitely see major personality differences in all of my children.
This makes life all the more interesting (but certainly not easy) in our household.

Below is a shot of my firstborn daughter, who is now six years old.
I snapped it the other day while we were hanging out by the pool.

She always amazes me with her quick wittiness, and she is definitely a little smartypants.
Her heart is so sweet and so big.
She is the kid that wants to heal every hurting heart.
She puts her arm around the kid that's crying and says,
"Don't worry, everything is going to be just fine!"
She is full of kindness and love and she makes me want to be a better person.
She is a total blessing in my life.

  1. One day your daughter will read this as an adult and start bawling. Very touching.
